Iconic animated series LOL Arcane will return for season two and will have fans on edge, says Jayce's voice actor.
Both fans of League of Legends and fans of Netflix's animated content knew that the Arcane series would be good; but did any of us expect it to be this good?
The animated series from the French production company Fortiche premiered on November 6º2021 to a fantastic reception, only to go supernova with the release of Act Two a week later.
However, all good things must come to an end, with the final three episodes that make up Act Three debuting worldwide on November 20.º, 2021.
Now, following a lack of new information at Netflix's Geeked Week event, fans can get excited for Arcane season 2 as one of the show's voice actors claims it will keep us waiting.

Riot wasted no time in confirming Arcane Season 2
This is fantastic news for fans of Arcane, the hit series has been renewed for Season 2 by Riot Games, Netflix, and Fortiche Productions!
Oannouncementwas first reported by the series' official Twitter page in the early hours of November 21, just a day after the last three episodes were released on Netflix, which also shared a short teaser video, see below.
"We are delighted with the positive response to the first season of 'Arcane' and are working hard with the creative assistants at Riot and [French animation studio] Fortiche to deliver our second installment." – Showrunners Christian Linke and Alex Yee, viaVariety.
The president of Riot Entertainment, Shauna Spenley, had already hinted at it in a recent interview withLos Angeles Timesthat there was "more to come" from the team when it came to these multimedia projects. Explaining how she doesn't think "Hollywood realizes how big [League of Legends] is," Spenleybelievethat the goal is to "imagine what a more accessible version of 'League of Legends' would look like," referring to the shape of TV series like Arcane.

While fans were delighted by the announcement, many knew the series' future was bright thanks to the availability of source material. League of Legends has an incredibly deep story, with countless characters each with their own story to explore. This was underscored at the end of Season 1 or Arcane, with many fans desperate to know what will happen in the seconds, minutes, and weeks after the decisive rocket launch.
However, Arcane season 2 may not be limited to a single narrative. If Season 2 did not directly continue the story of Episode 9,Beginnerhe notes that he could instead focus on the Noxian invasion, the Solari-Lunari conflict, Luz and Garen's search for Sylas, or the mercenary Sivir.

Arcane's voice actor gives an update on season 2
On June 9,hacer BuzzFeedIsha Bassi met with Kevin Alejandro, the voice actor of Jayce Tallis, who revealed that the upcoming season of Arcane is sure to be an adrenaline-pumping thrill ride for fans that will leave us "on the edge of our seats."
“You will have a conflict in such a way that I don't know if it is good or bad. Like, your emotions will be ripped out of you and you'll be like 'Oh my gosh!' This is how you're going to end [Season Two]. It's so good!" –Kevin Alejandro, viaBuzzFeed.
Alejandro would then reveal more about what it was like to work on Arcane, explaining how “Coming from a working-class background and coming up to help Piltover, help your friends, help the people around you… I was able to understand that journey. He just loved the whole emotional arc of Jayce and it was like he's my guy, that's who I want to be.
“I'm one of those actors who just trusts the script in front of me because I know it's a lot of work. All I lent was my voice, my interactions, my heart, and how I [seriously] took responsibility for playing this character because I know it's a universe that exists without me. So I was there, honestly, to let [Alex and Christian] know that I'm here and I promise to give you 110% of who I am to help create the best possible version of this character that I can. ." –Kevin Alejandro, viaBuzzFeed.
Alejandro would also end the interview by revealing that the cast was able to return to a proper production studio to finish their Season 2 voice lines after many created makeshift voice recording booths at home.
That wasn't the only update the Arcane series received this week, however, as Netflix unveiled an upcoming docuseries that tells the story of the show's development and production during the recent Geeked Week event.

On what date could Arcane season 2 be released on Netflix?
Sadly, neither the Season 2 renewal announcement nor the recent Geeked Week feature posted an expected release date for Arcane's return. However, Laurent Nicolo of Riot Games stated after the season 1 finale aired that fans would wait until at least 2023 for Arcane season 2 to release on Netflix.
"So yes, we are working#arcaneseason 2. The good news: you won't have to wait 6 years (the time it took us to make season 1) The bad news: it won't arrive in 2022” – Laurent Nicolo, viaGore.
The good news is that we can make some early predictions based on the Arcane Season 1 production schedule.Announcedin a teaser video on the League of Legends YouTube channel in October 2019 and was scheduled to debut in 2020, beforecomplicationsassociated with the coronavirus pandemic forced the final release to be delayed.
Unfortunately, very few details about Fortiche's specific production schedule are available online, but the series likely ran on a 12-16 month cycle once the early planning stages of development were complete.
Assuming Season 2 has a similar production schedule, fans could see Arcane return to Netflix in January 2023; However, considering the lack of public information regarding Season 2, fans can wait until at least the summer of 2023 before Arcane returns to the streaming giant.

How has the first season of Arcane been rated by fans around the world?
As with any Netflix title, renewals are almost entirely dependent on the number of households streaming a series or movie. Fortunately, Arcane's global popularity was obvious as soon as it debuted, with the show topping the Top 10 charts on 52 different charts.countriesafter only a week.
